Crypto.com has forged a strategic alliance with Travel Wallet, positioning the latter as its primary card-issuing partner in South Korea. The collaboration will introduce a co-branded prepaid card, enabling global spending with both fiat and cryptocurrencies. Travel Wallet's existing infrastructure—serving 8 million users across 40 currencies—will integrate Crypto.com's secure financial systems, creating a unified platform for cash, crypto, and digital asset transactions.

"South Korea's appetite for digital payments and financial innovation makes it an ideal market for expansion," said Eric Anziani, President and COO of Crypto.com. The partnership aims to streamline crypto payments, with Anziani emphasizing accessibility: "Digital assets should spend as effortlessly as traditional money." Travel Wallet will enhance its platform with crypto-as-a-service features, including stablecoin support.
